Does Global Supplier also supply high-strength carbon steel castings?
Yes – In fact we make more steel castings than we make cast iron.
What about material certificates?
We are able to supply materials with all known certificates from 2.2 to 3.1 and 3.2 - the old 3.1B and 3.1C.
Are the suppliers ISO approved?
Yes – Most of our suppliers have ISO 9001 – 2000 certification. But for low-cost high-volume parts, we have a few suppliers that we use only when the cost is more important than the quality. Furthermore, most of our suppliers are approved by DNV, ABS, Lloyds and other well known international classification societies.
What is the biggest casting can you handle?
We have not yet seen a product that we have not been able to find a supplier for. One of our suppliers is DNV- and Lloyds-approved to make up to 125 ton steel castings.
What about low temperature?
We have already completed some projects with Charpy testing at -40 degrees Celsius. It is no problem to get it made, and we help you choose material types that allow high-strength, low cost, and still reasonable Charpy V values.
Can you handle assembly jobs?
Yes, we already perform assembly work for some of our customers. We also help with logistics work and import special parts from the EU to China to make the assemblies.
Are you able to supply worldwide?
Yes – We can ship parts all over the world. We can also handle the transportation jobs for you. Most of our customers prefer that we arrange the transportation.
Do you have your own products?
No – We only make products according to customer drawings. We can help redesign parts so they can be made by casting and ship CAD drawings of these, but it is always the customer that approves the design.
How big is your company?
We produced more than 1000 tons of parts last year, and we plan to increase that amount by 50% each year.
Do you only work with Chinese suppliers?
No – We also work very closely with EU-based suppliers to find the solution that best suits your needs.
Do you only make castings?
No – We also perform traditional machining of plates, bars and pipes, as well as handling welding and assembly. | |
